At Therapy Office of Picayune, we pride ourselves on having licensed and experienced professionals dedicated to your mental health. We are caring and dedicated clinicians who understand that seeking therapy can be a challenging and emotional experience. From the moment you call our office, you will be treated with compassion, understanding, and empathy.
Deslie’s scope of practice includes treating mood disorders, ADHD, adjustment issues, anxiety, Asperger's/Autism and abuse, adoption home studies in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Deslie is a Board Certified Diplomat in Clinical Social Work and a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. She is a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals and a member of the Mississippi Conference on Social Welfare. Deslie is licensed in the states of Mississippi and Louisiana.
Paula has experience as a School Social Worker and School-Based Clinician, as well as served as an advocate within the school system. Her scope of practice includes ADHD, adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, anger management, behavior disorders, marital issues and trauma. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is an EMDR trained therapist.
Rhonda’s scope of practice includes grief and loss, trauma, adjustment issues, ADHD, depression and anxiety.
Dr. Simmons is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers. She has been in private practice serving adults, children and adolescents since 2007. Dr. Simmons also holds certifications in Insomnia (CBT-I) and is a certified EMDR therapist.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Shannon specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families strengthen relationships and heal from life's challenges through a systemic lens. Guided by Systems Theory, she views each client in the context of their relationships, environment, and experiences, helping uncover patterns that shape well-being and connection.
She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
(EMDR), a powerful, evidence-based approach for processing trauma, reducing distress, and fostering resilience. By integrating EMDR with relational and systemic approaches, she provides a safe, supportive space for clients to reprocess painful experiences while cultivating healthier patterns of interaction and self-understanding.
Her goal is to walk alongside clients with compassion and curiosity, empowering them to break cycles that no longer serve them, restore balance in their relationships, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Dr. Jennifer Ladner-Graham is a licensed clinical psychologist. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Mississippi. Dr. Ladner-Graham completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Pine Grove in Hattiesburg, Mississippi where she gained experience working with impaired professionals and treating various forms of addictions. Dr. Ladner-Graham is currently in private practice providing psychological assessment services as well as individual and group therapy.
Kimberly Sauls, LCSW, a Vicksburg, Mississippi native, attended Mississippi College where she received a bachelor's degree in Social Work. She then earned a master's degree in social work from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has been a Licensed Certified Social Worker since 2001. She has experience in a variety of social work fields including inpatient psychiatric, residential women's recovery, public mental health services, and behavioral intervention services in the public school setting. She began her private psychotherapy practice in 2018. Her scope of practice includes helping children, teens and adults, treating mood disorders, ADHD, adjustment disorders, substance abuse, anxiety and trauma.
Caty is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, currently licensed in MS. She has experience working with youth and families in crisis intervention and working alongside patients and their families in hospice. In private practice, she specializes in helping children and teens, adults, couples, and families navigate stress, anxiety, anger management, ADHD, adjustment issues, depression, and grief. She draws from a strengths based perspective utilizing CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
Her goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space that meets clients where they are, reflects their experiences, and supports them in exploring and taking steps toward meaningful change and growth.

A: The first session is mostly about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brings you in, your goals, and what you’d like from therapy. It’s less about “fixing” right away and more about understanding your story
A: Sessions are typically 50–55 minutes. The length of therapy depends on your needs - some people come for a few months, others for longer-term support.
A: That’s common. Therapy doesn’t require you to have everything figured out. We can start wherever you’re comfortable, even if that means just talking about your day.

A: Yes, telehealth is available for clients who prefer meeting virtually. Some choose a mix of in-person and online sessions
A: Yes, with very few legal exceptions (such as safety concerns involving harm to yourself, others, or abuse of a minor/vulnerable adult). We’ll go over these limits together so you know exactly what to expect.
Each therapist operates as an independent practice, which means insurance coverage can vary. Please check with your therapist directly to confirm which insurances they accept.
